Mavericks Rookie Dereck Lively II Exits Game 3 After Knee to Head

Lively's Neck Tests Came Back Okay

Dallas Mavericks rookie Dereck Lively II was helped off the court in the second quarter of Game 3 of the Western Conference semifinals against the Phoenix Suns on Monday night after taking a knee to the head from Karl-Anthony Towns.

ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski reported on Monday morning that tests on Lively's neck came back OK.

Lively Could Miss Rest of Regular Season

According to Mavs coach Jason Kidd, Lively could miss the rest of the regular season with a knee injury.

The 19-year-old Lively is averaging 11.3 points and 4.9 rebounds per game this season.

The Mavericks are currently trailing 2-1 in the series against the Suns.
