Knicks Injury Report: OG Anunoby's Elbow Update

New York Knicks coach Tom Thibodeau provided an update on forward OG Anunoby's elbow injury on Monday, stating that Anunoby would be a game-time decision for the team's next game. Anunoby has been dealing with an elbow issue since suffering an injury in a game against the Miami Heat on Jan. 10. He has missed the Knicks' last two games as a result of the injury.

Thibodeau said that Anunoby has been making progress in his rehab and that he is hopeful that Anunoby will be able to return to the lineup soon. "He's getting better every day," Thibodeau said. "We'll see how he feels tomorrow and make a decision then." Anunoby is averaging 17.5 points, 4.9 rebounds, and 2.5 assists per game this season. He is a key part of the Knicks' rotation and his return would be a boost for the team.

Knicks Injury Report: Julius Randle Shoulder Update

In addition to Anunoby, the Knicks are also dealing with an injury to star forward Julius Randle. Randle suffered a shoulder injury in the Knicks' 125-109 win over the Heat on Jan. 10. He has missed the Knicks' last two games as a result of the injury.

Thibodeau said that Randle is also making progress in his rehab and that he is hopeful that Randle will be able to return to the lineup soon. "He's getting better every day," Thibodeau said. "We'll see how he feels tomorrow and make a decision then." Randle is averaging 24.3 points, 10.5 rebounds, and 3.9 assists per game this season. He is the Knicks' leading scorer and rebounder and his return would be a major boost for the team.
